About Jisun

Jisun is a food performance artist who leads community based food projects with 2 cups of love and a sprinkle of humor. Her most recent work is the Miyeokguk (미역국, seaweed soup) Project - A performance of identities of Korean women diaspora and their reproduction stories (Recipient of R&D grant from AZ commision on the arts, 2022) . 


She worked with the National Theatre for Korea, National Traditional Opera Company of Korea as a part of the directing team. In Arizona, she worked for Free Arts for Abused Children of Arizona, Childsplay, Mesa Arts Center as a drama specialist/teaching artist and various theatre productions as a music director. She has been working as a dance studio musician at Arizona State University since 2019.
